If your home insurance asks for a certain standard of lock, such as BS3621 or a TS007 3-star cylinder, mention it so the locksmith fits the right one.

Questions about locksmiths
Will a locksmith damage my door?
Most lockouts can be opened without damage. Some high-security locks need drilling, in which case the locksmith should explain and agree the cost of a replacement first.
Should I change the locks when I move house?
It's sensible, because you don't know who else has keys. Changing euro cylinders on modern doors is usually quick and inexpensive.
What is an anti-snap lock?
A euro cylinder designed to resist a common burglary method that snaps the lock. Look for TS007 3-star or Sold Secure Diamond ratings.
