Use Fettld in ChatGPT and Claude

Ask your AI assistant to find checked local trades, explain how Fettld works, turn a problem into a clear job brief and post it for quotes.

What it can do

Without signing in, your assistant can:

  • search ID-checked trades who cover your postcode or town, with their checks, reliability and ratings from homeowners who booked through Fettld
  • show a trade's public profile
  • explain quotes, deposits, how trades are checked and the Fettld Promise
  • turn your description of a problem into a job brief, with safety advice first if it sounds like an emergency

If you connect your Fettld homeowner account, it can also post a job for you and show your jobs and the quotes you've received. Before anything is posted, it shows you a summary and only posts once you confirm.

It can't accept a quote, pay a deposit, approve work or message a trade. You do those in the Fettld app or on fettld.com, so your money stays in the deposit until you approve each stage.

In an emergency, don't wait for an assistant.

If you smell gas or a carbon monoxide alarm goes off, leave the building and call the National Gas Emergency number on 0800 111 999. For fire, or if someone has had an electric shock, call 999.

Connect ChatGPT

Once Fettld is listed in ChatGPT's app directory, search for Fettld there and choose Connect. Until then, ChatGPT plans that allow custom apps can add it by hand:

  1. In ChatGPT, open the apps or connectors settings and add a custom MCP server.
  2. Use this address: https://api.fettld.com/mcp
  3. Choose OAuth for sign-in. When ChatGPT asks to connect, sign in to Fettld and choose Allow.

Connect Claude

  1. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
  2. To search trades and draft jobs without signing in, use https://api.fettld.com/mcp
  3. To post jobs and see your quotes too, use https://api.fettld.com/mcp/account and sign in to Fettld when Claude asks, then choose Allow.

Other assistants

Fettld works with any assistant that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth sign-in. Use the addresses above. Your assistant registers itself with Fettld when you connect.

Your data and control

  • You choose what to share: the assistant only sees what you ask it to look up, and what Fettld sends back.
  • When you connect your account, Fettld shares your job details and quotes with that assistant. Its provider handles them under its own privacy policy. Our privacy notice explains what we share and keep.
  • Trades' contact details are never shared with assistants, and job descriptions can't include phone numbers or email addresses.
  • Only homeowner accounts can be connected. Trades keep using Fettld Pro.
  • Disconnect at any time in the Fettld app under Settings, Connected apps, or on fettld.com/connect. The assistant loses access straight away.
  • Using Fettld through an assistant is covered by our terms of use.
